CHAFF Gala 2025!

By: Eugenia Ávila Last Saturday, May 10, in the city of Clarksville, Tennessee, the 2025 Gala organized by CHAFF took place, the strongest Hispanic organization in this community, which despite being formed only a few years ago, has shown that with the strong work of its members, it is characterized by carrying out different programs and events for the benefit of the community, among them the great festival they celebrate every year, yes gentlemen, the already traditional Clarksville Hispanic Heritage Latin Festival, is organized by them and, by the way, has already been officially announced for October 12, 2025. This was notified at the Gala which, it should be noted, is held to recognize members of the Hispanic community who, in one way or another, help or support the community with their daily work or with donations they contribute to it, and which included dozens of businesses and community members, among them the mayor of Clarksville, Wes Golden, and his charming wife, who were very kind to everyone present, which is very important as it shows support and strengthens ties, ties that are very necessary and important for the Hispanic community at this time. We also met with Veronica Hernandez from Lincoln Heritage, Roy Villalobos from Seguros El Bronco, who were awarded along with myself and several community members such as Ana Luz Rodríguez from Antojitos Mexicanos, Doña Anita, Yerlin Lee, Jean Claude, owner of Vecar Construction, El Comal Mexican Restaurant, Rick Marquez from Coast 2 Coast, Jesús Bravo, Omar Vélez, among others. The atmosphere was very entertaining as attendees enjoyed delicious dishes, contributed to the auction benefiting the Clarksville Hispanic American Family Foundation, and enjoyed music from DJ Charlie, who was in charge. One of the most exciting moments was when the talented soprano Ninfa captivated all attendees with her voice, performing opera interpretations of boleros and other classic genres, all impeccably performed.
